Meet your car and driver at your hotel or cruise ship in Rovinj, and head for the hills on this wonderful Istria tour! Drive inland for around an hour, passing vineyards, olive groves, forests and orchards to one of Croatia’s most famous small villages, Motovun. Perched on a hilltop and surrounded by its old walls along which you can walk, filled with medieval houses, churches and galleries, and gorgeous views – it’s a romantic and fairytale place! It is also famous for its black and white truffles which you can enjoy on a special  truffle tasting.  Visit St Stephen’s Church, the Municipal Palace, the quaint alleyways and corners, and viewpoints. Later, visit charming Groznjan which is home to many artists who have breathed new life into the old stones of the village, and you can browse its workshops and galleries before enjoying a wine tasting at one of the local vintners. Continue on to Oprtalj and visit one or two of its churches before returning to Rovinj.
